Welcome!
We’re so excited to finally share that our wedding will take place at Relais La Corte dei Papi, just outside the beautiful hill town of Cortona.
We know that travelling to Italy is no small feat, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone making the journey to celebrate with us. We hope this weekend gives us all the chance to slow down, spend time together, and make memories we’ll hold onto for years to come.
On the day, transport will be arranged to collect everyone from Piazzale del Mercato, at 3:20pm and return you there at the end of the evening, so you can relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about logistics.
Where To Stay
Cortona is where most of our guests will be staying, with a range of hotels, apartments and villas to suit different budgets and travel styles.
We’ve pre-reserved enough hotel rooms for everyone at Hotel San Michele and Villa Marsili, shown below. These reservations will be held for a small period of time. To book, contact the hotel directly by phone or email, and reference our wedding to secure your room.
If these rooms aren’t quite the right fit, that’s absolutely fine too, there are plenty of other lovely hotels and Airbnbs in and around Cortona. Just be mindful of parking arrangements when booking, as not all accommodation includes it and the one carpark in town is a nightmare (RIP to our hire car’s tyre during the venue visit)

If driving abroad feels like a step too far, that’s completely understandable — Georgia relied entirely on Jamie to do all the driving on their visits.
We don’t want travel to be the reason anyone can’t make it to the wedding. If you let us know your plans (flights, arrival days, and where you’re staying), we’ll do our best to pair you up with someone who is driving and has space in their car.
If you have any other concerns or questions, please feel free to email us at jamieandgeorgia2026@gmail.com — no question is too small.

For those travelling from Manchester, we’ve found that flying into Pisa or Rome is usually the easiest and most cost-effective option, with direct flights available.
If flight times don’t quite work for you, it’s also worth checking Birmingham, which can sometimes offer more flexibility.
-
If you’re travelling from London, you have plenty of options. Peruguia is the closest airport to the venue, with a driving time of around 1 hour.
Other good alternatives include Rome, Pisa, Florence, and Bologna, all within roughly three hours’ drive of the venue, and each with some very lovely stops along the way if you fancy turning the journey into part of the holiday.
-
If you’re flying into Pisa, the hire car area is within walking distance of the terminal. Unless the shuttle bus happens to be waiting, it’s usually quicker to walk — the bus runs roughly every 30 minutes and the walk takes less time.
